Dear Editor:
David Suzuki’s discussion of the plight of whales is sobering. (Herald, 05/06/26, A7)
However, to suggest that whales are at greater risk from climate change than from human predation is just plain silly.
Many propagandistic pronouncements on the pending doom from global warming, and how we might avoid it, turn out to be equally vacuous when exposed to evaluation.
