Dear City Council:
We are writing, as concerned citizens of Lethbridge and southern Alberta and representatives of the Canadian Nuclear Society, to request a five minute hearing on February 9. Our goal is to propose that Council may be interested in hearing about apparent shortcomings in provincial planning for a reliable future electricity supply in this area and to outline initiatives the Canadian Nuclear Society is taking to help make Albertan’s aware of nuclear energy related opportunities within the province.
